Woolvin
Newby - Sheetz - McGee - Carmon - Morecock
Pridgen - Hall - Broun

Photos & text provided by Jennifer Woolvin-Allen.

I found these photos in the photo album of my great grandmother, Julia Kathyrn Carman Woolvin. The album is dated 21 Nov 1884.

She was married to James Franklin Woolvin, who had a funeral home with a Mr. Andrews: it is still in business as Andrews Funeral Home in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Most of my relatives were from Fayetteville and Wilmington, NC.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who 'knows' any of the people in these photos. Email me care of ONHGS at info@onhgs.org.

When Joel was born his last name was spelled "Wolven" - His mother's name was Anna Wolven, and he may have had a brother Charles.  I am very curious as to who his father was, possibly Richard Wolven.....
