between Second and Third, on Chestnut
Parking is easily available in the adjoining New Hanover County Parking garage. Enter off Second Street.

For short term parking, less than one hour, enter the right hand garage entrance. Parking is free BUT you will be ticketed if your car remains in this part of the garage over one hour.

For parking over one hour enter through the left hand entrance. The North Carolina Room can validate your parking ticket for no charge parking for the period you are researching in the North Carolina Room. General parking is $1.00 per hour (after the first free hour).

There are many restaurants and interesting shops within a four block area near the Library in downtown Wilmington.
