NHCPL Heritage Quest Access

Heritage Quest is available to NH County residents
from home on any internet connected computer.
A service of your NH County Public Library.

1. You must have an active New Hanover County Public Library card
with a 14 digit card number.

To obtain a card (free to NH County residents)
visit any NH County library.

2. Access the NHCPL website at http://www.nhclibrary.org

3. Click on the E-Resources tab in the center of the Library home page.
A new page with all the Library resources listed will open.

4. In the section labeled BIOGRAPHY, HISTORY & GENEALOGY,
you will see Heritage Quest Online.

5. Click on Heritage Quest Online.
A new window with a dialogue box will open.

6. Enter your 14 digit library card number,
then click on the LOGIN button..

The window will briefly show "NC Live", then change
to the Heritage Quest home page. You are in!

Note that the Library also offers Ancestry, Library Edition,
at any public computer at the three sites of the NHC Library system -
Main (Downtown), Northeast Branch (Landfall) and Myrtle Grove Branch (Monkey Junction).
